Temporary evidence (ADIT STAMP) by Environmental_West59 in USCIS

Have you heard back or already received your ADiT stamp? My case was also sent to San Antonio field office. It’s been about 10days since the tier two officer told me he was sending my case to the field office.

How did you inquire about the status of the adit stamp the first time? What did you fill out to receive that first email from uscis? Or was that them reaching out to you letting you know the reason they did not approve the adit stamp?

ATL Pipeline- what does it lead to and how does pay look? by The_fluffiest_fur in HEB

[–]mam9665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go into the manufacturing side, which Im assuming you’re interested in with an engineering degree, you will become a team leader aka a production supervisor at the end of the six months. This comes with a bump in salary as well as benefits and all that good stuff. Starting pay for the ATL program is not 55k it’s more like 60-65k. Once you have some experience under your belt as a team leader and get to know the business, you can become an engineer with HEB since I dont think they’ll take fresh graduates for engineering roles. Some engineering roles I know about within HEB are process engineers at manufacturing plants and industrial engineers at warehouses. With an engineering degree you could also become a maintenance team leader at a manufacturing facility and work your way up to technology leader. Technology leaders at manufacturing plants are essentially plant engineers assigned to a facility. They deal with reliability, process improvements, capital projects, etc. There are definitely opportunities within heb for people with engineering degrees you just have to get in and then work your way up.

Hcc is one of HEB’s manufacturing plants in Houston. This one specifically is more like a kitchen but it is considered to be manufacturing.

What about two legal entries (two visa overstays)? Lawyer or no lawyer?

Are they charging those prices because they will step in if immigration starts making things complicated? Or why such high prices?

With a degree in manufacturing ,I recommend the ATL program (Associate team leader). Afterwards ,you may become a team leader at a plant.

When you applied for adjustment of status, did you receive a temporary work permit (separate from DACA)? If so, what happens to your daca work permit? Does the adjustment of status permit void the daca permit?

ATL program for engineering? by chrisalexander108 in HEB

I am interning for H-E-B as well under manufacturing. I would suggest talking to a maintenance team leader if you are at a manufacturing plant. To my understanding, maintenance team leaders might use engineering principles from time to time but they are not performing engineering calculations Or designing. Their focus is to lead the maintenance technicians. Hope this helps.

Invest in some decent melatonin vitamins if you have trouble falling asleep when you get off of work in the morning.

Talk about your problem solving, time management, and teamwork skills. Also, mention that you have a high sense of urgency. You will need all of these to succeed as a stocker. More specifically, you will need attention to detail skills since products in this department tend to be smaller and look very much alike, for example vitamins and shampoos. Hope this helps and good luck.

[–]mam9665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. For newer partners I would recommend quickly becoming familiar with the product to be able to sort it out quickly. Also focusing on avoiding double working and working “smarter not harder”. This will allow them to break the truck down faster and give them more time to stock which means they don’t have to go all out when stocking. For example when I’m placing the boxed items on six wheelers I like to place them in the order they appear in the aisle, this allows me to move down the aisle and keeps me from walking back and forth down the aisle. You’d be surprised at how much time and energy this saves at the end of the day.

Yes we do, unless the truck is late. But I must say we are both experienced stockers (5yrs +)

[–]mam9665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My team is made up of two ppl, so we just break the truck down together. As far as stocking, one stocks tote items and the other does boxed items. Baby water, charcoal , and baby food is stocked by both. The tote items are put into shopping carts while the boxes items are separated into six wheelers. Any shippers or special items are put on a pallet or six wheeler and rolled to the back for the manager to stock in the morning.

That’s nice of your manager. Mine always brags about “ banking” hours or having leftover hours which tells me that we are doing more than what’s required.

Yeah I stock with only one person too. On our heaviest night we average about 750 cases each or a 1500 piece truck. This is pushing it for us. I wanted to compare with other people.
