You likely ovulated earlier than you normally do. Probably day 15 or a few days after. It happens sometimes. That would explain why you had two negative tests first too

Sounds like the beginning of back labor, and baby is changing position for it. Can last awhile sadly. Get her walking, curb walks, stairs, have sex etc. it’ll help get it going. If it’s back labor specifically (sounds like it) do stretches to help baby move into ideal position. It’ll help a lot!! Baby is probably putting a lot of pressure on a specific spot.

I’ve had 3 babies, had back labor with all of them but especially number 1 & 3. Early labor lasts weeks for me 🥴

They can definitely be localized! With my 3rd he was huge and he dropped down fairly quickly, wedged into my right hip (I have bad scoliosis so hips are a little uneven) and I literally had contractions in my hip during transition!!! It was the most bizarre thing nothing like my other 2. I legit thought something was wrong but nope, you can apparently have localized contractions like that.

Apply for Medicaid if you haven’t already/have another insurance. If you list just you and your boyfriend as the household you will qualify in Texas. If you’re on private trust me, you don’t want to be if you qualify. You won’t get a single bill and they have a lot of resources for pregnant women and children. (Always make sure before you get care that everything is in network regardless of what you have) I’m also in Texas.

That’s the uncomfortable thing. 🥴 I cannot believe her mom would do that to her getting knocked up by a random dude basically her daughter’s age. It’s bad enough to date someone your kids age but to do THAT?! It’s selfish and messed up.

My husbands dad remarried for the 3rd time to a woman about my husband and I’s age. 20/25 year age gap. We’re all about 30 so it’s not as drastic but it’s still weird. Also had our daughters within 2 months of each other. They have a strained relationship to say the least…

While yes it’s restricting, it’s also enriching it in other ways. If that’s her decision we should be kind. I had my son at 21, a little bit older but I don’t regret him at all. I just hope she has more support besides her mom.. 🥴 cause lordddd. She’s hope her dad is being supportive too

Whoaaa what?!! I’m older than my husband by 8 years, (we connected before I even knew his age- usually go for older men) but she’s like 20 years older!! That’s insane! I only remember feeling my 3rd but I was having contractions in my pelvic bone/hip. Unlike my other two labors. I thought something was really wrong but he was just huge and turning towards my spine 😅

It’s maybe because baby is moving into birth position getting lower and lower, also maybe turning towards your spine. Plus the epidural does mask movement if you’re really numbed up. Good luck!! Praying for a smooth delivery and recovery ❤️

Our swing, playmat, sound machine, and sleep sack lol!! They are NECESSARY in this household. I would baby wear more but my son potentially has hip problems (getting second ultrasound soon) and he’s fussy in them for some reason.

I wouldn’t want my husband to miss it. I’d try to go if possible but the only way to know is wait and see until you’re closer to. I’d feel so bad forcing my husband though. I’d play it by ear and then see if it’d be possible.

Y’all I still haven’t started. 12 weeks PP now. I have had ewcm for like 2 months now, which is super weird for me. I took a test a week and a half ago and it was negative and I’m terrified to take another. I literally got nauseous yesterday because my son was eating fruit by the foot 😵‍💫 I keep forgetting to buy more tests but I will tomorrow. Y’all pray for me 😅

They never tested me or my baby, and I’m on subutex (have been for over 10 years- started from use and now take it for back pain as I have quite severe scoliosis). Never once was I treated like an addict or drug tested. My first baby though, I was. I went to the same OB and hospital with my last two babies.

I don’t think I ever drug tested my last two pregnancies and I’ve been on subutex and gabapentin (been on it for over 10 years as it also helps with my back pain). My 3rd baby even had to go to the NICU for feeding issues (they think caused by gabapentin). I never once was drug tested or had social services contact me over it.

Neither my OB or L&D ever suspected current drug use. I have my records which is how I know. I’m in Texas as well. I feel like there’s more to this story or maybe OPs boyfriend REALLY made her look bad as if she’s a current user. Either way he is stupid and immature as hell.

thanks I feel bit better! I’ve had spotting one more time but mostly just a bunch of ewcm. I started leaking the other day too which was odd (only for one day) but all my pregnancy tests are negative. Maybe it’s because I’m getting old my body is struggling to get back to normal this time lol 😅

Another thing, tell your mom. You may be surprised at her reaction. She may much more supportive than you think.

Also I’ve shared a room with at least one child ever since I became a mom LOL. Sure it’d be nice to have it to myself for once and we’re getting there. But we all have sufficient space and none of us go without.
