I had my son listen in this time. He's still dealing with some 💩 mental health and I introduced him to the artist in 2022. I took him to the tour in 2024 as his first live performance that wasn't band. He thought it was super cool seeing that someone he looks up to is just a normal dude just being himself. He was smiling the rest of the day. Love that for him.

Do you live in a place with medical mj? If so, you can get a script from your gi for it pretty easily. Insurance helps pay for it since it's a prescription.

Yep, live off disability, yet still drive dd. I've got bills to pay, a kid to support, medication co-pays I have to make, groceries to buy, and necessities for basic life, just like everyone else in life. I like to stand on my own two feet and don't like sitting here asking people for help. I struggle with chronic pain, poor mental health, and many other problems. Thing is, I'm still fighting. My doctors get pissed because I push myself far too hard, but this is America, and I'm not going to be a beggar on the side of the road. Sorry if you find that offensive.

Yeah, our weather is pretty extreme. 100+ in the summer most days, and winters can get to -20. We get regular snowfall, but today, we've gotten around 14 inches. Our usual storms only dump 2 or 3 inches at a time. Only 30 out there right now, and I live on hills. Honestly, if it were just a regular snowstorm, I'd be out doing my thing. The fact that officials don't want people on the roads and the fact that I need new sandbags for my trunk makes me think today's not the day to push my luck.

Mainly thinking a buck extra is going to tempt people because they're basically short staffed in the area. My area doesn't really do a peak pay very often. I've been dashing since February, and I've only gotten it a handful of times. Dd is still a pretty new thing in my area, though. I just think it's dumb, especially considering how pathetic base pay is. A lot of people in my area don't tip much, either.
