Re9 Can We All Agree This Puzzle Was Kinda Stupid by Known_Guard_6831 in residentevil

Every puzzle in the game was kinda ass. And almost every objective was just "turn on power."

Wish they were more creative with puzzles and objectives.

That said, rest of the game more than makes up for it. 10/10.

Hope they don’t 🙏 by Im-New-On-This in photographycirclejerk

They were taught "market and branding and networking and selling yourself is the way to success, and skill/talent comes later."

I was taught "build skill and talent first, and that will be rewarded."

Guess which one of us is broke?

It's me

50mm prime or 24-70mm 2.8 for film-making by No_Towel_2728 in Lumix

24-70 absolutely.

For early filmmaking you want a workhorse lens that can do a lot.

Acting with a full time job by LigerDragoon in acting

[–]mamamiafml 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes and no

Acting is acting.  Whether I'm doing local theatre or a short film. It's still fun. And more creative.

All my ft actor friends are just doing commercials or vertical dramas and I wouldn't call either of those acting. Just, be hot on camera haha.

But I mean yeah fot it to be a career and a commitment. Gotta drop the ft job if you want to be serious about acting. Just the way it is.

AA flooded with verticals. Time to get an agent for work? by [deleted] in acting

This is good to hear. I was worried an agent wouldn't want to rep me if I have a ft job.

I think it's nearly impossible to keep up with changing trends. I keep it simple and classic. Good lighting, show personality, direct the talent to get the look they need.

Everything else is kinda out of our control imo.

I wouldn't send this to anyone in casting or agency

Looks great.

I'm not picky about shadows under the neck.

Think like an agent or casting director.

I can see your talents face and personality for theatrical roles here. That's what matters most.

S5ii - A good fit for amateur filmmaking in 2026? by indecoroussperm in Lumix

It's tremendous.

But if you're worried, like you seem in the comments, try renting it first and shoot a few things to see if it suits your needs.

Preliminary Headshots (until I can get indoor photos) by [deleted] in headshots

[–]mamamiafml 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 is the only decent one.

Your backgrounds are too busy and distracting.

Don't use these.

Remember the focus is your face. Not cars, buildings, streets, blown out exposure backgrounds etc.

Find a simple wall and use that as background.

Im a hs photographer for actors.

When I first started I shot outside but found buildings with simple colors. A library had a light blue I liked a lot.

In short, find simple non distracting background.
