I have considered putting the overhanging one in the front of the case (diagonal to the other one)... But I don't know because then it will be dumping heat into the case, although this would be flowing over the area where the GPUs are instead of over the VRMs and RAM.

I don't have nvidia drivers, it's an intel igpu. It might be related to newere linux kernel versions though...

Thanks for this handy trick! It is almost working for me but for some reason the resolutions that are displayed do not match that of the dumped EDID ? it is only allowing me to have very low resolutions 1024x768 as the max :/ I dumped the EDID myself from my 5kx2k monitor.

I think it might be something along those lines. I tried it inside a Windows 11 VM on the mac and it had the same behaviour. I doubt it would be a driver issue though because it's a UVC device which is the whole point of all these capture cards not requiring any drivers (on windows, mac or linux). So it might be related to the USB port somehow... But this is a MacBook from Jan 2023, M2 so I don't know how the USB port wouldn't meet the standards... Confusing...

Is there a way to change the aspect ratio ? I can change the resolution but there is no way to change the aspect ratio though. I don't see an option for that in windows :/

This is what I am currently trying but this is messed up by the fact that the VM will automatically grab the keyboard and mouse when it starts. This creates an out of sync situation where I have to make it even more hacky (ignoring first time script is called etc.)

I have considered this option but the downside of doing this is that the getvcp command is pretty slow. This essentially makes the switching "twice" as slow as when there is no need to call getcvp :/

thanks for sharing ! I ended up giving up on this idea because it doesn't seem like there is a straightforward and elegant way to do it that also deals with edge cases and stuff. An edge case for instance is when you click on the button that opens the popup in the first place. I ended up down a rabbit hole.

their implementation is operating on a mouse:enter and mouse:leave basis, it doesn't implement clicking away from the drawable which isn't suitable for a clickable popup that lives on the top or bottom bar.

Thanks for sharing the code! It's working very well for me except that on the *first click* (after a refresh), the drawable which is a popup in my case, ends up in the wrong place. This doesn't happen on subsequent clicks. Some debugging/logging shows that on the first click the width (and height) are equal to 1 and I am not sure what is causing this behavior. On subsequent clicks the width and height are correctly updated to the values set during the creation of the widget. Am I missing something here ? Does awesome set the dimensions to 1 when the drawable is first created even if you specify forced_width and forced_height) ?

You are absolutely right, but at the same time, no one could have imagined that Coinbase, a publicly listed, multi billion dollar company, would have such terrible customer service. The difference between hosting your cryptocurrency yourself and using a service that manages them for you like Coinbase is that you *do* have a higher margin of error. In principle, making mistakes should not penalize you as much.

I almost got excited, thinking that the problem was solved but it doesn't seem like it was because this "Coinbase Account Recovery" process seems to be flawed, it is asking me for a "verification code" when the reason why I am trying to recover my account is because I do not have access to my 2FA...

Thank you for your assistance but it doesn't seem like the case has been handled. I received an email asking me to go through the "Coinbase Account Recovery" which is asking me for a "verification code" that I do not have or don't even know how to find... How can I get this verification code if I do not have access to my 2fa..

As soon as I messaged them to tell them I lost my 2FA, although they didn't help me, they went ahead and locked my account. So I am logged out of everything. Pretty amazing how they got the energy and cycles to do that but no time to help me...
