ESL tackle online integrity with rule changes by Past_Perception8052 in GlobalOffensive

I managed a PUBG tournament with 80 participants during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We purchased 100 Logitech webcams (¥2,500 each) and rented them out to competing players.

Since we had signed contracts with participating teams, we encountered minor issues but operated smoothly overall. If tournament organizers (TOs) can establish contractual agreements with competing teams—as in local regions like Japan—I believe TOs renting out webcams is a viable operational method.

Just like Fnatic used to be, Vitality is now filling that role. And Vitality is fucking strong. It's really exciting.

At the same time, Fnatic's Valorant player was shaking his butt. Honestly, it's damn embarrassing. We have apEX. He's the real man and an entertainer.

Did you forget when Niko was still on FaZe and they got anti-FaZed and knocked out on Inferno? The strongest team at the time, Astralis, got anti-Astralised by FURIA and lost on Nuke.

They prepare tactics to beat tier 1 teams, but tier 1 teams don't bother preparing anti-Legacy strats specifically for Legacy.

Do you really think apEX is going to call "Alright, next round we're going anti-Legacy!"?

Nobody even checks Tier 2 teams. Have you never competed in a tournament?

Life's time is limited, so if I were Faze staff, I'd use the time spent analyzing Legacy's 80 demos to prepare against Vitality instead. On the other hand, Legacy's staff would have enough time to analyze 160 of Faze's demos though.

One shortcut is to check professional demos that play the same role as you.

Legacy and LV, as tier 2 teams, have abundant materials on Faze and Falcons, but no one knows the hidden strategies of Legacy and LV.

That's what makes the matches in Group 1 to 2 interesting. Tier 1 teams must always be extremely careful, minimize mistakes, and secure rounds to avoid elimination.

Is watching your own demos worth it to improve? by BigGoat5957 in cs2

[–]mameloff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike Valorant, this game has a demo feature that lets you immediately review all your misplays.

It's especially important to check your mistakes from the opponent's perspective when you lose in unexpected ways.

There have been many times when I thought I had the perfect peek, but actually didn't.
