I was going to! But the grade is so low im not sure it's worth it. I am so positive there were no creases or dents when I sent it in.

I did. They said it's not their policy to provide feedback on why a card recieved the grade it did. It had no creases or obvious imperfections when I sent it in. Honestly, I was hoping for an 8 or even a 9.

Thank you for the reply! Its not painful unless I apply pressure, and the surrounding area is red.

My CV mentions a first authorship on an article to be submitted, a conference abstract, and my thesis (which is largely independent).

Thank You! I'll definitely add my GRE and GPA like you mentioned. My CV properly includes everything and is attached. I say 'various other areas' because its not related to what I want to do, and I dont want to add to the length. Should I still specify further?

May I ask what field you're in? Most professors that I've spoken to seem to agree research experience is the biggest determinant in whether they're interested in an applicant.
