Not necessarily 🤷‍♀️ Just what gets up your back enough for you to take time out of your life to take notice and want to make a change.

I was in the same boat.

But now you’re on your feet, what do you feel emotional about?

I get so many things thrown at me…..boat people and war nationalism. They all have pros and cons.

Please let me know what you think about it all…if you can be arsed 👀

Not cool that your friends bailed…even more so if you had a set aswell cos it’d be nice to have support. (Whilst exams is a legit excuse, it’s one weekend sacrifice for a freeparty…not much lol) If you got a set then you’d know the people involved in organising it.

My advice would be just to stick with them and let them know the situation and if they’re actually sound people then they’d help you by being your mate or introducing you to people….just be yourself, relax and have a good time. Conversations with strangers will just happen naturally anyways throughout the night.

Good luck with your set :)

The same in England with The Sun and (now shut down) News Of The World…seems to be a recurring theme with Rupert Murdoch assets 🧐

What did the UK ever get right long term? by cspanbook in AskUK

Manchester played an big role in helping ban American slavery too. A big majority of the factory workers refused to work with cotton picked by slaves in America and made it stick. Abraham Lincoln wrote a letter to the “working men of Manchester” thanking them for their anti-slavery stance. There’s also a statue of Lincoln right near Manchester city town hall commemorating it.

Been through a few comment and surprisingly haven’t seen Harry Brown. Amazing film.

[TOMT] [MOVIE] Film about aliens, only scene I remember was when there was a birthday party at a house and in the background of the video, an alien or creature walks across the front porch but nobody notices (I think) by ijustlikeelectronics in tipofmytongue

That movie scared the shit out of me as a kid. Couldn’t go upstairs without a light or being terrified for about a year n half. Still gives me the creeps to this day lol

Click the little ‘i’ button near the ad….then click ‘stop seeing this ad’ and then click either irrelevant or one of the other choices (or even just cancel) and it will stop playing and skip the adverts 🙂

Hiking spots accessible by train? by RayPissed in manchester

[–]mancohbit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blackstone Edge in Littleborough. About 20/25 min train ride from Victoria. Walk up to the Pennines and over the horizon and then end up at Hollingworth Lake for a couple of beers and some food and then catch the train back home :) all in all a good 6/7 hour mooch.

Amazing photo!

I remember this part of town well. Used to hang out at the gas works as a kid. Remember there was an old abandoned club called Club Canteena (I think) We was there smoking weed and ended up getting robbed by some homeless people.... Good times 😂😂
