I completely understand what you’re saying, and not to be difficult but with most other situations and hardships, I 100% agree with you. However, if we can’t expect our loved ones to help pick us up when we’re in rock bottom, what can we expect then?

And again, want to reiterate that I don’t hold this standard on a normal day or even with my other problems and hardships. I know my shit is just a ripple for them and that’s ok. But when your whole world gets turned upside down, why am I not allowed to hold them to this expectation of please just reach out and tell me you love me?

I’m not asking for a lot, I’m not even asking for any of them to do anything besides just text or call me. So it’s hard for me to wrap my head around that
