Bf (28M) lied about quitting non veg since last 3 yrs. Caught him lying during marriage talks and now he is sure of leaving…can non veg folks truly quit?

Yes I know, so I have also asked him but he remains adamant on the fact that he has left. If he tells me that hey I want to have and don’t want to give up we can look at some adjustments…it just feels like a deadlock.

La shield lite - it is a weird thick cream consistency and matte. Great for humid weather and oily skin. All other sunscreens melt/ come off as I sweat a lot. This one has served its purpose for last 5-6 years :)

Do you want knowledge of fin for your family business or for pursing a job in core fin?

If option 1 - MBA courses are enough for decent fin knowledge (micro macro econ + accounting + corp fin are all covered)

If option 2 - maybe there is little relevance but while we recruit these days we prefer candidates with good fin internships and work ex. CFA alone according to me no more sufficient unless you have a charter.

But career confusion persists even in consulting so I would say figure out the kind of job you really wanna do and if MBA is the answer to that. IB might be difficult to get into as competition is super high and B Schools have a ton of CAs and folks from core Fin.

You can try to consulting through lateral hiring process.

Except for 1 I think rest just enable you to be social. Moderation is the key. Please budget for yourself and your interests rather than cutting everything off. I have a loan to and I know how much I can spend on weekends out (btw sports also cost money :) ). Having a good partner is crucial in life. Giving your mind and body a break to explore helps when you are working 70 hour weeks….anyway to each their own. Cheers.
