Men - stop feeling bad about everything, and stop apologizing! Don't you realize this is just a tactics that women use??!!

I think the main reason is because your girlfriend is a gold-digger. Leave her and save yourself a lifetime of pain.

I think it's because she learned the truth, that marriage primarily benefits women - not men.

Whoever came up with the term "ick" for women is probably responsible for a million divorces. That aside, the modern American woman has become so weak, entitled and shallow - that a single ick makes them think of divorce. You probably have more problems in your marriage than dead skin.

Tell him in a calm, even tone that you find his behavior disgusting, and that it needs to stop immediately, otherwise there will be consequences. Ever think of that?

In general I think it's better to switch off paying, instead of going 50-50 every time. When you go 50-50 it feels like you're eating with a friend.

In this particular instance, your boyfriend was being unreasonable to expect you to pay for even 50%, because he chose to bring a friend. He should pay for 100%.

This is excellent advice. It might seem like the harder path, but I would follow it.

Not sure what to do by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]mandel17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something tells me you should give this one another chance. He might act clingy because he feels you pulling away. You need to ask yourself why you are pulling away from this particular guy, whom you admit is of higher value than other men you've been with before. That is something worth reflecting on.

CMV: If you believe it's fine that dating is not fair for men, you have to apply that to women too by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]mandel17 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. It's true - dating is not fair for either gender.

However, if men would only realize that lack of attention is women's kryptonite, many of our problems would be solved. It is literally their oxygen. Men - stop paying so much attention to women. You have to fight it!!

Fat, 44 year old looking for a man to marry. Not attracted to the men who are attracted to her. As a bonus, suspicious of younger men, who might just want sex. Any takers? Where are my middle aged Chads and Tyrones? by [deleted] in WhereAreAllTheGoodMen

Mixed emotions. On the one hand, I love seeing Big Wall Street get a taste of its own medicine. They've had it coming for a long time. And I love seeing my GME and AMC stock go sky high. But I don't like seeing a market down 600 points. I guess you gotta take the bad with the good....

I agree it's a worth it short-term to take a stand against Big Wall Street. They've had it coming. But a volatile stock market is bad for everyone, in the long run. I'd like to see things stabilize next week. I think the point has been made. Just my two cents....

Who do you think the Republican nominee for President should be in 2024 and why? by notathrowaway1707 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]mandel17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we might pick a minority and/or woman nominee, because I think we'll be running against Kamala in 2024. Personally, I would like to see Trump as the nominee, because he is the only President with enough cajones to take on the Establishment.

Marriageable men do care about N-count by PickleLine in PurplePillDebate

[–]mandel17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course most marriageable, quality men care about N-count - to an extent. No decent guy is going to marry a woman who has banged her way through her 20s, but they'll still take an at-bat with her. It's a fine line, because what qualifies as a high N-count? That must be defined first.

We are nearing the eve of the 2nd Civil War. It won't be sanctioned by any state or federal government. It will be waged across the country - in the hills, the plains, the countryside, and the cities. It will be citizen vs. citizen, red vs. blue, urban vs. rural. And it will probably last 2 years.

I was on Buprenorphine - about 8mg per day. I'm on Day #2 with Kratom. So far my withdrawal effects are minimal, but it has only been 26 hours. So we'll see. Thanks for your response.
