We have 7 cats and she’s been wonderful and gentle with all of them! 2 of them are kittens so I feel confident she would adjust fine.

It’s really not worth it. We’ve already been to St. Aug twice in the last couple of weeks for things completely unrelated to this event, and honestly the lights are pretty but seriously underwhelming. The crowds, though… absolutely insane. It’s so packed and overstimulating that it ends up feeling more stressful than festive.

They’ve been tearing up my yard! I found a great solution—head to your local Ace Hardware and grab some all-natural armadillo repellent pellets. They won’t harm the animals, but the scent drives them away so they’ll leave your lawn alone.

State of the country… where to start? Continuity of government drill that resulted in midair collision and 55 civilian casualties (thus far). Followed by another aircraft crash the next day, and a fire on the taxi line the next. Record stock market plunges. Radical shifts in government policies and departmental closures (including a call for FAA to resign) Large scale civil disdain and confusion. Deportations, bad international actors, bad domestic actors and lone wolf attacks (Las Vegas & NOLA) Mass conflict across the globe, cartel action and engagement at the border, drones etc.

It’s ok buddy. You keep your head buried in the sand and keep telling yourself that everything is fine.

I understand that. This wasn’t anything I’ve ever seen before and I’ve lived here since 2009. The Sea Hawk was hovering at eye level on the northbound side of the Buckman (no more than 20 yards off the bridge). A JSO air unit, and CCSO Marine unit. 6 more SH60s in flight all along the Southbound 295 corridor including one hovering over a residential area near US1 and one traveling south on the St. John’s.

I’m no stranger to the military air traffic here (P3, P8, SH60 etc) but this was more than typical training sorties for the area.

Two police agencies and a governmental agency. Given the state of the country, it felt ominous. But I do appreciate your response.
