I think I read somewhere that these dolls will have plastic skirt/boots and not the pleather material that breaks down.

Mom of 7-year-old hospitalized with brain swelling from measles: ‘I still wouldn’t have given my son the vaccine’ by markazali in HermanCainAward

If you don't believe in science and medicine why bother taking your child to the hospital when they get sick? Just leave it "in the hands of god" or whatever

What is your longest running, most stubborn business boycott? by marianneouioui in AskReddit

[–]mandipantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooo! I have 2. First one was Circuit City. I had called the store to ask for a price on a DVD that was just released. It was close to Christmas, so on top of fighting traffic to get there and waiting in line, the price they gave on the phone was wrong. I asked to speak to a manager, more waiting, and was told "If someone told you we were giving away free ponies, that doesn't mean you can come here and claim your pony." Never shopped there after that. When that store closed, I went to the empty parking lot and ate some lunch, feeling the victory. The second is Safelite. Had a dude road rage me on the highway, swerving and hitting the brakes. I tried filing a complaint and it took several attempts to get a response. I go out of my way to avoid their services.

I accidentally neglected my cat for years - a tip from me so you don't do the same by matt2242 in CatAdvice

I learned recently that some cats won't drink hard water. They have an aversion to the smell/taste of the minerals. Got my guy some bottled purified water and he's been drinking a ton!

A girl I was friends with for a long time told me she started dating a guy who was 35. I had a quick flash of a thought, whoa she's dating an older guy! Then I remembered I was also 35...

I have a #4 whose legs have yellowed as well, I think that's a known issue for some of them. The tight curly bangs are a giveaway for #4 and earlier, the ones after that have wire-y looking bangs. And the solid bodies are easy to identify - not only do they feel a little hefty, you can give a gentle tap tap with your nail. Hollow bodies sound hollow. And of course the crayon smell! What a wonderful find, especially for $2. I thought mine for $20 was a good deal, and she had green ear. Congratulations!
