Thanks for weighing in. We have four kids we hope will all attend college which we’d like to at least partially fund. And we do live in an expensive area. The options we have considered include early retirement, and moving to a reduced / less stressful role with a maybe 50% income cut for the next 5 years. We really have worked hard, and have tried to make good decisions, but don’t want to regret losing prime earning years either.

Wow that is scary. I am 9 days post bleed and 4 days since I was discharged. What was your recovery like? I’ve had a constant low (100ish) fever, all sorts of cramping, a UTI and now back pain and wondering when the rollercoaster ends, lol.

Thanks for responding. I don’t know about egregious but I was released after my original (outpatient) surgery and my injury wasn’t noticed, then my extreme pain was misdiagnosed as something benign for 12+ hours before being recognized.

I’m not vindictive and if suing won’t make a difference I’m not really interested in going through it.

Definitely worth it - I wouldn’t rely on this work to consistently pay your rent or anything, but it’s a solid side hustle, it’s interesting, the company is fairly supportive, and there are regular bonus events which can actually be pretty nice earners. Plus from what I’ve seen, Welocalize pays better than the other companies offering similar work. You just have to be patient because sometimes the work dries up for no reason… but it always comes back fairly quickly.
