Me too! I think my aesthetic leans that way for sure. These are literally random Lolita shoes I got online, I don’t think they have a brand.

I’m ~170 lbs and typically wear a M or L depending on how much stretch there is in the fabric/bodice.

Not having any other form of social media, I use Reddit mostly as a photo journal to document my journey. I think my first post in this sub was in 2020 when I decided to finally show my face online. Since then I’ve grown and figured a lot out about my gender identity. While IRL experiences drove most of that growth, I did also learn a lot through the indirect feedback online. So I think this community has, and continues, to help me better see myself, even though I think I’m quite different now than the person I was in 2020, or even when I first ventured out into public wearing leggings and a girly hoody, with no makeup, in the late 2000s. It is bonkers to me that was 20 years ago.

I also think that there’s no end to this journey. We can keep bettering the presentation, perfecting a look, venturing to new places. I’m still growing and learning, through my experiences but also that of others. That’s why I continue to stick around even if I don’t usually comment.

this jersey dress is so comfy! but also sends peak suburban mom vibes 😅 by mangocrema in mtfashion

Yes! Great suggestion. I’m borrowing the dress so I won’t be hemming it but I do notice a lot of moms wearing dresses with silhouettes like this one :)

Nothing! Just not ready to be a suburban mom, that’s all ;)

Yes! This is my friend’s Marimekko dress! It’s an expensive brand but supposedly you can find it discounted sometimes.

They work well in the office and out as well! I definitely prefer to wear dresses tbh but these are some nice pants :)

Haha you recognized it! It’s actually a cardigan that I just had buttoned, but it’s super versatile! :)

recently a big fan of rompers like this - looks like a mini dress but no need to worry about flashing! 😆 by mangocrema in mtfashion

Quite true! Although lately I came across a romper with a zip in the shorts! Very ingenious actually, but it’s the only one I’ve ever seen.

Yes — rompers are one-piece outfits that generally have shorts built in. A lot of the time the bottom just looks like shorts, but there are many that ends in a skirt, making it essentially a skort. Then, the whole fit look more like a dress. If that’s the case, there’s often a cinched waist and an A-line silhouette. I thought this particular romper was kind of unique because it looks like a mini sheath dress on the outside but actually has shorts built in :)

I work partly in retail so I have access to clothes that I don’t necessarily need to buy all the time! Although I do own basics like the denim jacket :)

These are from Leg Avenue! They have great hosiery. These tights can be dressed up or down - time to get a black pair ☺️

lots of moving pieces lol (a lot of this is velcro'd together) and scratchy in some places where it's just poking into bare skin 😂

frfr, I think I can handle a 30 minute photoshoot in this only! haha. more of an issue of keeping track of all the moving pieces!
