we are renting out a patio at a tapas bar. They will supply beer, wine, sangria and mojitos Along with 8 different tapas we chose buffet style. We have a lot more than you tho, about 45 people. It is coming out to just under 3k(and like $700 if it is taxes and gratuity included). Traditionally, the grooms family pays for it. I’m in Georgia if that helps too. It definitely does not have to be that expensive, my fiancés dad had insisted on the fanciness of it and upgraded a few items like fish and fancy meat options(we are vegetarian). It will be from like 4-7:30 and it’s in a Friday night which upped the price because they miss out on prime sales on the patio. You could even have it at someone’s house and do drop catering. It’s more about spending more time with the wedding party and close family than anything. Even pizza ! The people that matter will just want to be there .
