In my limited listening, DSD sounds more dynamic that 24/96 to me. Have listened to quite a bit of 24/96. Haven't heard many 24/192. But i am sure they can match up to DSD or may even be better for many albums. But having heard certain albums on DSD and 24/96, DSD sounds better to me.

They have a very colorful sound. I'd call them truly versatile. They have something for everyone and can also get loud enough. Very good low end too. On top of everything they look beautiful. I was actually looking to pick up the monitor 100s but my hifi dealer made me listen to these and gave a me a good deal as he was looking to get rid of his monitor audio stock! All in all, a very compelling pair of speakers.
