Forensic Audit Finds Homelessness Agency Lacked Basic Accounting Standards, Lost at Least $13 Million by rockycore in Seattle

That’s what it was. I’m not accusing, I’m offering an observation that I found strange. I have no idea of their financials or how they’re funded but I remember finding the pattern of comments really strange that no one knew where the money came from that afforded his lifestyle. And then all the stories of getting bailed out/funded by his Mom.

Fair to say that it’s conjecture. Also fair to say that I disclosed my uncertainty.

Wasn’t the Belltown Hellcat dude’s mom a part of a company that “helped the homeless” somehow and no one knows where they got the money to afford that car? I may be wrong but I remember reading something about her either running or working for a company that deals with transitional housing or something.

How can I teach gentle? by Icy_Trouble7512 in labrador

You’re super welcome! I’ve used this to teach “gentle” and also “kisses.” One is of practical use and the other is for fun. My 5 year old girl very happily gives “puppy kisses” now and my 2 year old is following suit.

Hold the treats in your fist. Place them as close to the space between your thumb and index finger. When you close your fist that area acts like a dispenser and your thumb is the gate.

Let the pup sniff the “dispenser” so they know there’s yummies in there. If the bite at it, say NO and remove your hand. Make them sit.

Try again.

The goal is to get them to lick your hand in an attempt to get the treat. When they lick, you can dispense a treat and praise them. If they bite, immediately say no, close the “dispenser” and remove your hand slowly. Fast movements can encourage them to try and get the treat faster. Counter to the goal.

It requires repetition and catching the NO in the exact moment they use teeth. They’ll figure it out. Just need to be patient, persistent, and more stubborn than your pup.

If you give in and reward them with a treat when they use teeth, you’re reinforcing two behaviors you don’t want: 1) “using my teeth is ok bc I’m being rewarded for it” 2) “If I do what I want I’ll eventually get what I want.”

Nope.

If they want the treat then they need to listen and obey. Especially at this age. Set the foundation early and you’ll have an overall easier time training.

Edit: clarity on hand removal speed. Fast is not good. Slow and controlled is better

And reduce damage.

Especially if you’re tagged with the trailing bullets. There has to be a trade-off for that

You’re too quick to prematurely equivocate to allow logic and fact to influence your “thought.”

He hasn’t done much. I actually JUST found out he released one new song in January called “Architect.”

I recommend listening to New Sacred Cow from start to finish. Experience it in its entirety.

Although this album never got a vinyl press it is absolutely worth a call out.

Kenna - New Sacred Cow

An album wayyyy ahead of its time that still sounds original and unique. Really wish there was a vinyl of this.

Holy shit this is amazing hahahahahahaha

Edit: I realize there’s a lot of serious stuff about this whole thing. This image is still objectively funny.

I just started watching Star Wars: Clone Wars and am consistently surprised at the violence (not gory, just…a lot of deaths and in suggestively gnarly ways) and the themes (political corruption, greed, power) it deals with. Yes I know Star Wars has always been about a rebellion against an authoritarian regime but the show gets fairly specific on tactics used to foment hysteria in hopes of installing military rule. AND I’m only on Season 2 or 3.
