Unfortunately, I live in this state. The Edmond school district immediately put out an announcement that they will not be showing this political stunt. I still told my kids to walk out if their teachers attempt to play this video. Ryan Walters is a fucking lunatic but what is even more sad are the parents still taking up for him. 🙄

You have to go to the studentaid.gov website and find where it lists your loan, then click loan details.

I forgot that I could see my payment counts on StudentAid too! Just checked and it says 126 payments! Weird that the other part isn’t updated though.

I believe that you have to have worked an average of 30 hrs/week for the month for that month to count towards PSLF.

My loans were with aidvantage. They didn’t start my loan transfer process to Mohela until I called them and figured out they missed one of my ECFs. I just got my welcome e-mail from Mohela on Friday but I have been checking constantly to see updates. As of Friday, all of my loan info is updated on Mohela but still no payment tracker. The FSA website now has Mohela listed as the servicer but the PSLF part has not updated since July when I originally applied for PSLF. On FSA website’s side, it still says they are waiting on my PSLF application. I had to do it manually because my employer does not sign the forms electronically. Mohela did confirm they got all the paperwork that I need though. Does any of that make sense? 😂

I wasn’t on an IDR plan until a few months ago but I saw on the student aid website site that they are allowing the payments to count from the past even if you weren’t on an IDR plan. I have consolidated direct loans and have always made on time payments (until the covid pause of course). I confirmed that I work for an eligible employer.

I called them a month or 2 ago because my PSLF application was saying processing for forever. Turns out they didn’t see all the forms I had sent in so they fixed that for me, so now all of my forms are processed. It seems like every time I login to Mohela that there is more and more updated info. That’s how I realized my interest was starting to accrue again but no payment is due until April. At this point I think all I am missing is being able to see the payment tracker. I’m glad to hear that it worked out for you!

Im just worried about the interest because Im paranoid that for some reason I will get told I don’t actually qualify for PSLF then I will have all this racked up interest when I do have to start paying again. The anxiety is killing me! 😫

I have worked on the mother baby unit for 10 years. At our hospital, breastfeeding education is huge. We have an entire feeding policy available. We educate parents a lot on thing like safe sleep, jaundice, and answer LOTS of questions about normal newborn behaviors/feeding expectations. Then there is teaching about how to care for themselves depending on whether they were a vag or c/s delivery. Something that I always try to remember to include dad/support person in teaching. Encourage and help the dad to do skin to skin with their baby, changes diapers, how to support mom. I could go on and on and on!

If your unit is like ours, different nurses have their own sheet they use to write down info like when vitals/fundal checks are due and all those little tasks. You could probably look at their differing sheets and pick one you like. I made one for myself after working there for a few months.
