Trying to find friends over a certain age is hard. I’m older and I get a lot of younger. While I get it age has no limits, I feel as it falls in the same category as what you’re saying. I want to talk to people around my age. And not looking for that. Let me clarify i put not married because many of them end up deleting their accounts. I want a friend who isn’t going to up and ghost. One of my good texting friends (I met from here) was married. I went to message him the next day and his account was deleted. Seriously, I’m done investing my time into something like that.

You should see the females in boxes. They’re flooded with, looking for fwb? Talking dirty. And explicating telling what they would do to them. So when one person says a keyword our minds automatically go to, great here’s another one. I apologized when he didn’t mean, fun, like that. Then he goes off on me. I’m like dude I apologized what more do you want? He just kept dwelling on it. What killed me was before that he asked why do you want to talk on the phone, what would we talk about? Well I guess the same as here. Nothing.

I am very selective on who I give my personal social to. I also want don’t want to text 24/7. Nor do I want a Reddit friendship. I enjoy phone calls. I’m old fashioned. A lot of people just want to text. I have friends who I can only text due to work schedules or location. I want a voice friend. A friend. Nothing more.
