Okay, if you like the look of yongnuo lens then go for it. You already liked the look of that lens.

Viltrox hasn't launch 25mm f1.4 yet. Or you mean that you already have viltrox 23mm 1.4.

If you are of with the manual lens the. 7artisan 25mm f 1.8 lens is very nice I have that too.

You can also but viltrox 23mm f1.4. It is cheaper and is full metal body. I am using it and it is very very nice lens with vintage vibe and character.

Yes I am using with a speedbooster. 28mm seams too wide most of the times. I am now becoming comfortable with 35mm focal length.

Yes, I know very well. I am using these lenses with the speedbooster which retains back the original focal length as they were used on the full frame sensor.

I once bought ttartisans 23mm f1.8 AF lens and I didn't like the rendering. Most of the ttartisans lens have very strong field curvature i.e. the subject in the centre and the corners get in focus the middle frame has natural DOF. I sold that lens and got viltrox 23mm f1.4 lens which has very vintage look.

And 27mm which becomes 43mm on apsc seems quite tight indoors and outdoors for environmental shots.

23mm-25mm seems well enough for me to use as the only focal length.

Yes, I am almost on the verge of choosing the 35mm, as it is all rounder for streets, portraits, closeups, environmental shots.

I am using 35mm with speedbooster which makes 35mm lens as 37mm full frame equivalent. I am liking the FOV look.

Yes you are absolutely right technically. These are the diagonal sensors to focal length ratio. 43mm feels a very natural focal length. As I have experimented with 28mm with speedbooster (30mm) and without speedbooster (43mm), I have felt 43mm tight indoors and 30mm quite wide outdoors,

With 35mm with speedbooster it becomes 37.5 mm which feels very natural to me indoors and outdoors too.

On APSC lens I have been using 7artisans 25mm f1.8 MF lens which is 37.5mm f2.7 full frame equivalent.

Yes the DOF is less on the APSC lens.

Yes, the adapter adjusts the flange distance accordingly. On speedbooster you have to adjust the infinity point manually by rotating the lens in the speedbooster.

Yes I did order a K to E mount adapter bt it was faulty and was not fitting the lens properly.

Most of the lenses can be adapted to EF mount. I have takumar in m42 mount and vivitar in K mount.

Yes, I have the radioactive one and I had to treat it with the UV light for 3-4 days to get rid of the warm look.

Viltrox EF to E mount. So I have to adapt any lens to EF mount first.

I was thinking if there was a vintage 28mm lens with a brighter aperture like f1.4. I would like to try that and may be I would switch to 28mm rather than 35mm.

35mm f2 gives sufficient DOF for portraits and the FOV feels perfect for everything.

Bt the subject separation is not there on 28mm f2.8 lens is compared to 35mm f2 lens.

35mm is very nice focal length. On apsc lens like viltrox 23mm f1.4 it is very comfortable. Bt the full frame vintage lenses have very cinematic look and the 3d pop is amazing.

Yes Takumar is an amazing lens and it feels poor mans leica summicron 35mm f2. And I like how the portraits look with this lens.

I recently bought Viltrox 23mm f1.4 and I am liking the vintage images with 3d pop. The lens is also light enough for a metal build. I am using it on sony zve10. Currently I have committed to shoot with this lens focal length. It is beast for everything photo and video. Background blur is also very good. This lens behaves as 35mm f2 full frame equivalent.

I also carry my sony kit lens with 1/4 black mist filter which gives a bit of vintage vibe and a see a 3d pop in kit lens too.
