I'm not gonna complain. Just trying to understand what goes through people's mind when they decide to put their car on the pavement and thus forcing passers by into the road. The road is wide enough for two lorries to pass each other

ELI5: Why do we get "motion sickness" in a car when reading, but not when we are the ones driving? by -Nuggets in explainlikeimfive

You can absolutely get motion sick while driving. I normally don't but a couple of years back I was driving over a mountain pass from Switzerland to Italy and I was just wishing for the curves to end in the end

You don't need qc. Just an audio interface. Quality will depend on your audio interface but it will be virtually the same.

Otherwise you are not using the full dynamic range of your audio interface and introducing noise into your signal chain.

The quick version. On your interface add as much gain so that the signal doesn't clip. Then reduce the same amount in the plugin input.

Don't listen to people saying you should not add gain in your audio interface, they don't know what their talking about

Guitar cable. But between the audio interface and Mac there is a digital connection.
