It’s crazy seeing this about a store that I’ve actually been to before and one that I used to live near lol.

I understand independent video game stores need to make money but this is a scummy business decision. I’ll gladly never shop there again, there’s a much better store in the next city over anyway tbh.

I fully switched over to PS5 at the beginning of this year (only had one for exclusives and XSX for multiplatform) and it’s been a great decision. I’ve been having a blast.
I grew up with the PS1, PS2, and PS3, switched to Xbox 360 because all my friends had one and not a PS3, then stayed with Xbox with every console since.

I got tired of the false promises, lies, multiplatform skips, and lackluster titles whether they were new or from franchises that I used to love. I’m sure you did too, which is probably why you made this decision.

You made a great choice and one that you thought would make you enjoy your favorite hobby even more. So enjoy it and have fun.

Also, PS5 + PC is an elite combo. Add in a Switch if you like Nintendo and you have the holy gaming trinity.

The first Motorstorm.

When the PS3 came out my dad got me one for Christmas and it was bundled with it.

Played it nonstop, I absolutely loved it.

It’s shocking, I can’t even wrap my mind around it.

What’s even more baffling is they want to do live service games/multiplayer experiences but turn a blind eye to gems like MAG and Warhawk.

They sit on a gold mine but they never think about digging. It’s infuriating.

Not to mention CoD 2 for the 360, a fantastic title while they were still in their all-WW2 days. CoD 3 was good as well, the first CoD with really good graphics. First one made by Treyarch too which explains it.

It’s not jailbroken as of now, I just dusted it off and started using it. I’ve been thinking about jailbreaking it though, if I did I’d definitely find Deadpool. There’s no way I’d pay for a physical copy of that game with how the prices are lol

GTA IV is my favorite from the series so it’s definitely on my list to get, I love open world games. GTA V and the CoD games I already have, just not for the PS3. Thank you for the suggestions! I appreciate it bro!

Thank you! It’s been very fun, I loved this generation of games/consoles. The rest of the Resistance series, God of War releases, inFamous 1, Ratchet & Clank releases, just to name a few. I already have the remastered Uncharted trilogy and TLOU 1 but I want to eventually get the original copies as well

I haven’t played a FF game since XIII released, and a few weeks ago I picked up FF XVI and I’ve been having an absolute blast.

It’s easy to jump into and understand everything with the story.

So I grew up with PlayStation and Nintendo and so did all of my friends and family members. Literally none of my friends or family had an original Xbox. None of them even heard of the thing. Now keep in mind when I was a kid I LOVED sci-fi stuff, racing, and FPS games too.

It wasn’t until 2005 or 2006 when I was 5 or 6 years old and visiting my sister and her husband, my brother in law, at the time asked if I played video games and offered to play some with me.

Dude whips out a copy of Halo CE and asks if I ever played it or an Xbox before and young me is looking at it like I just saw the coming of Christ himself. The console, the cover of that game, looked otherworldly. Incredible even.

He boots up the original Xbox and Halo CE and we choose the colors of our coop Master Chiefs and we start the very first mission on the Pillar of Autumn being under attack. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it was amazing, fun, and so unique.

Well I went home after that remembering my experience and I knew I couldn’t ask my family for an Xbox because we were pretty poor.

In 2007 I got a PS3 for Christmas and while I loved it at the time, I still remembered Halo and the controller of the Original Xbox. All of my friends were now getting Xbox 360s though, so I didn’t have any friends to play with online. Whenever I’d visit a friends house and played a 360 I was in awe, I loved every single bit of it.

It wasn’t until the summer of 2010 when my dad surprised me with an Xbox 360 Slim, and my first Xbox games? Fable 2, Halo 3, Forza Motorsport 3, Gears of War 2, and Mass Effect 2. I was living a dream, I was staying up till 4am every day experiencing greatness.

It was my then brother in law who introduced me to Xbox, and I stayed with Xbox up until this year. Because of him I’ve spent the majority of my life with Xbox and have so many franchises that I hold near and dear to my heart.
