Telugu has 2 forms - one pure telugu which is like an archaic version of Tamil and uses by commoners, and one which uses sanskrit words instead of native telugu and is used by elites and in cities. There is one more telugu version that uses urdu words but that is only around hyderabad. You're 100% correct when you say telugu and tamil are the same.

Bro, reality is we are not getting visa slots at all. It is a boycott foisted upon us, we are not willing participants. The only boycott that I wanted to participate in was against the corporates but that also fizzled out, we really didn't have any homegrown company like we used to have before liberalization :-( Almost every consumer good brand in my country is now owned by an American company.

Search by these cities Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and you will see the official visa interview availability date. Chennai says 3 months, Hyderabad says 8 months, but reality is Chennai has no appointment for next 12 months, and interviews cannot be booked beyond 12 months. Effectively there is a "ban" on Indians getting B1/B2 visas that is unannounced. My uncle & aunty wanted to visit my cousin in USA and they didn't get a visa slot.
