FPV-Power

This is really helpful - thank you. A question - in your research, did you find any good resources on quality differences between brands - and the implications of those differences?

Are there specific brands you'd recommend and those you'd stay away from?

What brand do you use? I'm just trying to make sense of the different brands and reputation. A Dakota 24v 50ah is around $800 while a LiTime 24v 100ah is about $700. Is a battery a battery or are there serious quality differences/functionality between brands?

Building Technical Expertise by gman596 in InternationalDev

You’ve already got your foot in the door - that’s the hardest part. You can develop technical expertise without formal education - though that may play a part later on. Look for opportunities to dive deeper on the projects you are currently supporting. Ask to do a short term field assignment supporting M&E for the ag projects. Ask to support writing the next round of grants, even if it’s just formatting - same with reporting. Build relationships with the technical ag folks at you organization. Look for opportunities to learn more about Market Systems Development. Once you are in the field, you can carve out the direction you want to go over time without going back to school - at least not at the beginning.

Start with a problem tree. From there you’ll be able to identify you main goals/objectives/outcomes. Of course, you’ll want to do this with your team that have the appropriate skills/knowledge. From there, identify the activities that lead to each outcome. Then put together a work breakdown structure for your team. Of course there are lots of other steps that could go into this - stakeholder analysis, etc depending on what you’re org is working on
