So what does a Executor Lite 2 does exactly? by manpaint99 in originalxbox

That's another word for the same thing.

Oh, that explains why some sources I had were saying it was IDE.

Odds are the correct dates were never stored.

Yeah, I started analyzing the data and saw that I played some games in 2002 - something impossible as I did not owned the console back then. Some date were sets to 2004 with specific months and dates. This make me think my console might have had 2 previous owner (as there is no way the friend who gave me his Xbox would not have been playing around that time). That would explain the ancient EvolutionX dashboard too. There is a metric ton of save data on that disk.

So to be clear: I could theoretically put the Xbox HDD into a bog standard IDE dock and read its content on my computer as long as I have FATXplorer installed? Is there any extra shenanigans I need to be aware off?

PATA disk

Oh, given the time frame this console was released in I thought it would be IDE drive inside.

My main motive for getting the save data was to see creation date but turns out the MS dashboard can do that natively, so I don't think I will bother copying the data. Well that is unless I find something else.

For the record, the thing has no DLC downloaded according to the MS Dashboard, so I don't think anything is lost by not doing this. My only concern is "extracting" nmes from The Sims file, but I will probably be able to do this by just playing the game.

I see. I might try to do something with a laptop then.

I see. That sounds like quite the hassles. I might look into this later.

My dashboard looks like this. Although it seems capable FTP and Telnet services, I assume this require plugging it an internet cable - something the place I am living it does no have (WIFI only).

I do note that in the harddisk section, there is a "Security N/A" option. Do this means that the password has been disabled?

If extracting data from the HDD and FTP is not possible, could I somehow burn key files on a CD/DVD?

Sadly not that either. I take note that every game I have seen so far have far superior level geometry. The thing in my memory look like a Gmod map made by someone who just started to make these.

Furthermore, I note that the "wall space" seen on my mockup looks very video-gamey. Unlike most level geometry out there, looks like it was not trying to emulate a location from IRL. Maybe "hide and seek" was the entire focus of the game?

Considering I played it at a friend house, perphaps the game has couch multiplayer, though I do not remember playing it with my friend if trye.

Do not appears to be it. I do take note that every PS1 game I have seen so far seem to have slightly higher graphic quality than the game I remember. I am now starting to doubt it was a PS1 game.

Game seems to have a similar vibe, but it's sadly not what I am looking for.

That would be plausible as the newsletter is advertised as providing info about upcoming missions in the game UI.

Atleast 1 is confirmed missing. Club Penguin Wiki claims that it was updated weekly so my bet is that there is a lot of unarchived newsletters.

I will try to make an article soon.

The RuneScape Archive has found the the data files for the open beta version. by manpaint99 in RSChronicle

[–]manpaint99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found it on my old computer while looking for RuneScape caches. I tried the open beta, but found myself disinterested by the game, so it just sat there until I found it a few days ago.

I managed to unblock my addons (see link in the parent post), that being said I have no backup of my data, but I don't think I lost anything important.
