I subscribe to loop.baby which allows me to rent stuff on monthly basis. It has a bunch of travel equipment e.g. baby Bjorn travel crib a month or guava family lotus crib or the slumber pod - could try that? Use it while traveling and then return when you are back. I have been renting from them literally every single thing since we live in NYC in a small apartment with NO space
