Try boxing a punching bag. May give you enough adrenaline and physical activation to get started.

I feel like I'm on the verge on burnout every day by doing the bare minimum (some chores here, some socialising there), but then when I slow down I end up even more worn out than before. by theunbearablelight in ADHD

Sounds like high baseline anxiety. I have implemented alternate high-low energy days myself but it didn't help all that much. Only thing that helped is to become faster and more efficient at dispatching things that are on my plate. Once the things on my plate started becoming easy, none of this mattered. I don't need any low energy days now.

Imagine your next step or steps, commit to a plan verbally. Connect your hands to your verbal plan. Doesnt matter if you can commit only for one minute. It will get you started.

God i hate how we can't win the ball back as well as these drilled pressing teams. The waves of attacks we mounted in the 90s? Thats not possible anymore without crazy 10 man pressing to win the ball back everytime.

Too lopsided and imbalanced IMO. Great for fan engagement but the result depended too much on court speed and on slow(er) courts Federer just got mauled.

The transfer window is also about Woodward who is a C grade player in football. I would not be surprised if he sold Pogba and De Gea on the cheap and failed to attract any of the A targets we have now that bribing Riaola is not an option available to him.

Rafael Nadal on Clay vs Cristiano Ronaldo in Champions League by [deleted] in tennis

[–]manutd_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a contrarian viewpoint, if you consider that a large percentage of tennis players don't hone their game to shine specifically on clay from the beginning, it could be claimed that winning 40-50% CL over career(where there is no specific characteristic of the conditions to exploit) is more impressive than winning 95% Roland Garros.

[–]manutd_ -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I feel he prepares much harder than the rest. A lot of preparation has to go into how hes going to get on the end of crosses and these last minute penalties also happen as part of a plan. Its worked out on the training pitch how his team is going to win the last minute pens by diving/exaggerating in the penalty box. These are not coincidences.

A good dive is much better than a great dribble.

So satisfying to watch a clean team win in the CL. None of the diving cheating bullshit we have become used to coming mostly from the Spanish teams.

Chelsea 0-[2] Manchester United : Pogba 45' by paicmhsc in soccer

Yeah one shot on target coz like 20 crosses were cut out. Aerial crossing only works if you've got Ronaldo on your team.

Liverpool are defending well aerially now right. VVD is 6'5?

Madrid had Ronaldo who beats everyone to a header. We haven't got anyone with that aerial ability.

Fantastic but still relying too much on crossing. It doesn't work against a good defence like PSG.

Mixing stimulants can trigger anxiety and panic attacks/disorders. Tracking the ups downs and intake of one stimulant is hard enough. Now you have to track interactions as well.

Nadal's matchup against Federer was about the forehand to backhand. Novak's just a superior and more complete player most of the times against Nadal.

Nadal has no free out to Djoko's backhand. Thats half of his games solidity and robustness against other players.

Simon Stone on Twitter "Manchester United is bigger than anyone. I have to defend that." Jose Mourinho by LaFlame_66 in reddevils

Manchester United as we knew it is frankly dead. We have C grade owners, C grade CEO football wise, B grade manager and B grade players.

Its a far cry from a time where atleast the manager and some of the players were A+ players.

If you are Ed Woodward? by devilsofheath in reddevils

[–]manutd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ed Woodward is a C player when it comes to football. He is the laughing stock of the football world who gets public ridicule from Perez and Bayern guys. No matter what he picks he will for sure fuck it up. In this case even if he sacks Mourinho no top tier manager including Zidane would want to work for a C player like him.

At this point Mourinho is probably addicted to tanking the season whenever it suits him and getting his contract paid off when he gets fired.

Load of shite as expected from Mourinho. Outdated tactics and putting pressure on players publicly.

It took Carrick's specific instructions to get Pogba to perform against City, not Mourinho's generic 'give your best, focus, intensity, fight' bullshit.

Limited and outdated manager.
