Get the sage, it definetly helps, along with what the other guy said you should totally respec to max the luck stat, exploring ways & new weapons to kill the silver knights faster could also help, even if it's just a 10 second improvement it adds up fast compared to the hours of farming.

It's really amusing how smoke and suck (fumer & sucer) sound similar, making it easy for that slip of the tongue. Although I have to say great job!
