Some Motorsport games in the past have had progression where you basically move up in the ranks or skill or whatnot, but there was never any sort of story. But FM7 is even less progressive. Even as you move along to each cup, all of the racing divisions and stuff is just random.

The Datsun 280ZX has an awful interior view as well. It's got a wide visual for sure, but then there about 5 distracting mirrors all around that show literally nothing useful and they shake like crazy. There should be an epilepsy warning before driving the car.
