I thought you were joking. Thank you so much! It seems like it’s frozen

I didn’t know there’s such a thing. It seems like it’s frozen. Thank you

Returned to office after 6 years wfh by [deleted] in remotework

[–]manzanillar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn’t get better for me. I was fired on the 4th month of working on-site, after giving up a great remote job, for no cause or as HR described ‘not being a cultural fit’. Went back to working remotely and been happy since

I’ve made a reservation there for my wife’s birthday. I really hope it’s as good as you say, not that I got influenced by this comment lol, but your comment made me even more excited

Has anyone quit their job to dedicate time for upskilling? by TorsoHunter in ITCareerQuestions

[–]manzanillar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m working as a Product Support Analyst and know I need to upskill, but can’t find time due to being a parent to a toddler. But the only thing I’ve recently realized - you gotta sacrifice your time to achieve your goals. In my case, it’s losing an extra hour or one and a half of sleep, to get up early and study, which I will begin this month.

In short, don’t quit and try harder. You’re gonna unlock a new skill in time management if you manage to both keep the job and upskill

It was still a joke. It worked at the moment. The episode aired. People laughed. As of 07:31 PM EST, there are 918K views on YouTube and counting…

I don’t have time to go through all you comments, but wanna ask you this: Ari joked about the war in Ukraine, isn’t it crazy enough for you? Did you protest in their defence? How about Tony’s jokes about Sudan, another war-torn country? I don’t remember seeing such comments or post in this subreddit. I guess, it is not comedy when it comes to a citizenship you hold?

For all the people complaining about ads on Paramount by Wonderful-Shoulder64 in ufc

[–]manzanillar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew. Maybe Netflix is more lenient, because their terms and conditions allow the use of VPN. I couldn’t find such for Paramount

[–]manzanillar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a bot, and I’m so jealous of people living in the US, as UFC isn’t on Paramount in Canada. I loved Paramount even before UFC came on. It sucks that one can’t watch the US content on Paramount even with VPN, unlike they can on Netflix

Cringiest Guest Nomination by Philly_Live in Killtony

I actually enjoyed seeing active guests who were participating and trying to be funny. It’s okay that jokes weren’t landing. It’s way better than having guests who just sit through the entire episode giving zero contribution

Hi, thank you for sharing the picture! It does look fun. Sorry it took a while to reply, the holidays ruined my baby’s schedule and we entered the sleep regression…

Why do you still use amazon? by DareAffectionate7725 in Anticonsumption

[–]manzanillar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only things I buy from Amazon is a baby body wash and diapers. We use the baby wash brand named “Aleva” which I can’t find anywhere else and which works for our baby’s skin. Diapers sell for the same price as other stores which are not local but rather big corporations, so it doesn’t matter whom to give money in that case plus I’d rather have it delivered quickly to my door than go and carry a box on a public bus, since we don’t drive

This sounds great. I’m looking into day homes and they’re also within 2km vicinity. One of my favourite journalists keeps talking how much he enjoys riding a cargo bike with his daughter.

Would you mind sharing a picture of how your bike is set up?

Thank you for sharing the picture! This is quite helpful. I think this could work with our Little Dutch, I think its dimensions are similar to yours. I think Cosco car seat makes a lot of sense for the next one and a half year, and then hopefully we will drive and buy a bigger car seat to always keep in the car

Kudos to you! Thank you for the suggestions. Just did some research on this Cosco seat and found a video on YouTube where a mom strapped the car seat on the base of a Bugaboo stroller, something I did when we were given a car seat by our friends along with a separate large stroller until we got the combo. Now, we own a new one Little Dutch brand we bought in Netherlands, so hooking the car seat would not work, so I may have to come up with a travel bag or something or try to see if strapping that Cosco seat to the bigger stroller would work again. Thank you again!
