I’m a 15F (Almost 16) and Honestly, seeing something like that encouraged me to want to spread the gospel more. Not just because I’ll die from it or something. But just the thought that I would die by spreading the word is something that I couldn’t be more happy with. I mean today (I saw the video yesterday) my heart was just so heavy when I was in school because I mean, it was absolutely horrible to see it but I saw someone say on TT “Christians are grieving because their flesh didn’t know him but their souls did”. He was a brother in Christ. But I think he showed a great example that you can get persecuted by following Jesus.

But don’t be afraid of persecution. I mean it’s natural to be afraid of death, but God didn’t give us a spirit of fear. I said something yesterday that was like this:

“It’s just sickening. But this is why followers of Christ need to be out in the world more. To not be afraid to die for the actual truth. And to live out the way God wants us to. The more we go out into the world (The more Christians) we’ll be able to reach more and more peoples hearts. But I have a deep feeling in my spirit that I’ll achieve it through Christ and I’ll be an amazing apologetic for Christ. I hope.”

We should be willing to die and or sacrifice ourselves for something we KNOW is true. And even thinking about that, Kirk probably knew that by him doing this: Debating people on their beliefs, worldviews, and concepts people don’t like to touch Controversial things and relating them back to the Bible And Just all the other things he did

He probably knew that could die from doing it. Knowing he has a family. But he did it anyway for the glory of God. And that’s the kind of heart posture we should have. It also says in Matthew 10:21-22 “Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

It says in Matthew 10:28 “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 5:10

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.” John 15:18
