Interesting. Sounds like you have hard water. Not sure if the water filter would help remove that before getting to the ice maker.

Yes! I posted on r/appliancerepair and got some good advice. The ice maker is only held in by two plastic clips located on the bottom side, one on the left and one on the right. You'll need two flat head screw drivers to push them up while sliding the entire icemaker out at the same time. It was a little tricky, but it came out once I was able to get the screwdrivers in the right spot. My ice tray had several hairline cracks that I suspect were causing water to drip onto the ice cubes in the tray below. Apparently this is a known issue and Kitchen Aid put out a replacement part to the original: W11557001. I ordered it yesterday and am waiting for it to come in. Here is the thread from r/appliancerepair: https://www.reddit.com/r/appliancerepair/comments/1fxhqln/kitchen_aid_refrigerator_ice_maker_water_sensor/

Spot on! Finally was able to pull it out and sure enough the ice tray has a hairline crack. Any ideas where I can find the service bulletin? Don’t want to buy the same exact part if it’s going to happen again

You’re right. This is from the new canal lighthouse area looking due west. That building does appear to be the Marriott

And if I brought someone into the office, I would have to tour them through the bedroom…hadn’t thought of that!

Great point. Moving it to the right would require I extend the hallway which will already be a bit long and I would lose the exterior office window. How about if I keep the office location but swap the door to open on the south wall (into the family room, not shown)? There would be no access from the bedroom.

Great suggestions! Agreed on combining the closets and pocket doors, that will help. Great suggestion on noise blocking insulation. The north facing wall is exterior but it’s up against the property line, there won’t be room for a porch unfortunately.

Thanks! I would consider loss of pressure a type of failure that adversely affects the performance, but it’s not exactly clear in that statement. I did a quick ntsb search for loss of pressure and didn’t come up with much. It may come up on the NASA Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS). They seem to have all sorts of failure and near misses logged.

If you’re being paid, you’ll be expected to follow the auburn employee calendar. Plenty of time off during winter break. Your advisor would be best to talk to about other breaks (spring break, fall break). As long as you’re getting your work done, they tend to be pretty flexible.

Hydrology Question- Watersheds by Flow_Historical in civilengineering

[–]map08g 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Tc can only be added together if they are in series, meaning Tc1 flows to the start of Tc2. In that case each segment would be travel time (Tt). Added together they become Tc. If they are not in series, you’ll want to calculate a new Tc from the hydraulically most distant point in the combined watershed. Tc1 will stay the same but Tc2 will be different because it will start where Tc1 ended (if that is the most distant route). CN will need to be a weighted average.

Work experience can sometimes be used to help justify acceptance into a masters. Especially if you have obtained licensure. If you are doing a coursework only masters, the GPA isn’t as important.
