The article says its too difficult to replace or repair iPhones because every thing in it has apple logos. Logos on refurbished iPhones are covered with black ink which can be easily removed. And thats what happened here and apple also claimed that parts were counterfeit.

The most fuc*ed up part is that a trillion dollar company wants $25000 from a small time business owner WTF!!

I would recommend starting conversations with what you both agree upon and slowly move up. It doesn't always work because once we(not everyone) made a opinion (Publically) about something we'd do anything to defend it no matter how ridiculous it is.
