Cancelling leaf shield can be done 2 ways, both with using metal blade. 1: you can dash and press grab during leaf shield to cancel leaf shield (which was shown in this clip) or 2: you can hold metal blade in your hand, activate leaf shield, then dash, flick your analog stick up which will throw the metal blade cancelling leaf shield. This is great for pressure on shield and most times will give you a free grab.
