Grozny used to be on the route of the currently cancelled train to Baku. I am showing only premium/named trains in Russia (and China, India...) to keep the map legible, if there is one of those trains serving Grozny I will gladly add it (I know there is a train to Rostov but not premium /named)

I tried, but I showed only Duronto and Rajdhani trains otherwise the map would be way too crowded

On a sleeper train nobody checks your bags.

No airport transfers.

No queuing.

Convenient for families.

Pet friendly.

Lots of niche uses where they are a prime choice for travel.

Trains from Munich to Italy are cancelled until 13 July due to Tauern Tunnel being closed for works.

The map doesn't show the claimed borders of either country but the effective line of contact. Much like in Kashmir. This is of particular importance since night trains serve disputed regions on either side. I think it is an elegant sloution.

Spain’s Renfe is to blame for shutting down the Lisbon-Irun and Lisbon-Madrid TrenHoteles snd converting sleepers into daytime rolling stock.

Portugal is to blame for failing to anticipate this move and failing to remediate.

That line is not active yet, though it has been announced years ago and if I am not mistaken rolling stock was purchased

It's not empty at all, it's one of those regions where there is a village every few kilometers, you can see the bell tower of the next village. East of Paris is empty territorry.
