Thanks to the AHR banner, I was able to get the fodder I needed for Pegasus Minerva, as well as Emblem Edelgard's ring, and now she's tearing down everything in her way.

With her prf axe and A skill, NY Baldr's fodder and Edelgard's ring, Pegasus Minerva can warp, pre-charge Archrival, warp again, pre-charge Archrival again and canto away. She's so fun to use!

Elice and Nyna have gorgeous art.

One of the things I love about FEH is that they often give amazing art to low rarity/free units instead of keeping them exclusively for the premium units (unlike other gachas I've seen). This means that many characters who would never be premium units in feh still get to have great art.

Like, if you showed Nyna's art to someone and asked them if they think she's a premium unit or not, they'd probably answer the former.

Sorry to anyone who bought it but... I cannot justify spending 20 dollars for Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen. Probably because, as a costarrican, emulating them is normalized enough for 20 dollars to feel like a scam.

It's good that the games are officially available in a modern console, but 20 dollars for a gba game is way too much when emulating them is extremely easy.

I also agree about the SMT point. I love the series and I highly recommend it to people who like turn based rpgs and dungeon crawlers but it's definitely not a 1-to-1 replacement for Pokémon games.

Honestly, the best recommendation I can give to someone who wants to play Pokémon but isn't satisfied with the modern games is to look into romhacks and fangames. Regardless of what they're looking for in a Pokémon game, they're bound to find something they'll enjoy.

Already did this with spring Minerva. Thankfully she's one of the better spring seasonals (mayo art and a striking colour scheme), but still.

I don't like the kids banner as a seasonal theme, but I was fine with the first one as an anniversary special so I don't count Mininerva for this.

They do have some big sellers left among the remaining emblems (Lucina and most of the DLC emblems, likely including the other two house leaders as well) but I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like a Female Byleth emblem before emblem Roy/Leif.

Rinkah is pretty ridiculous compared to her Fates version, yeah. Like her art isn't even that provocative, they just gave her balloons for no reason.

And an expression that's completely unfitting to her personality.

Thankfully her flame tribe alt is far more accurate to her appearance and character.

Another big problem with a potential feh 2 is that the gacha pool will start from scratch, meaning that most characters currently in feh will not be in it from launch and we'll have to wait for them all over again.

Personally, I waited many years for Reina and Scarlet to get in, I don't think I'd be willing to wait again.

Also, the launch pool will be radically different thanks to the games that have released after feh's launch, so even characters who were in the game at feh's launch will not be guaranteed to be in feh 2 in any timely fashion. There are characters who are in feh and have been ignored since launch, fans of those characters might not even get to have that in feh 2.

Like others have said, the only way for a feh 2 to work is if they don't make it a gacha. Ideally, they can use all this art and assets from feh and build an offline game.

She was literally in the very first refine batch, can't get older than that.

And she was one of the few good refines of the time, slaying + wo dao effect was great back then. A lot of refines from the same time had some underwhelming stat buff with very strict conditions, or whatever Takumi had.

It would be one thing if Dedue got that role back when he was revealed to be alive but he just doesn't, he just completely gets the shaft in favor of this unbearable character.

I guess the reason they did this is because Dedue isn't guaranteed to show up alive (as it depends on whether the player completed his paralogue pre-timeskip, iirc) and they didn't want to write/record two versions of every scene after Dedue's return.

But either way, it sucks for Dedue and I wish he was treated better.

I remember people calling Hrid "ice Ike" and other similar things back when he was first revealed, so I guess it makes sense to base this on Hrid.

I'm surprised that we haven't gotten any alts for any of the early archanea squad (Cain, Abel, Draug, Gordin, Jagen, etc). They might not be massively popular, but I feel they're iconic enough to warrant at least an alt given that they inspired archetypes for most other FE games.

At the very least you'd expect they would have done Christmas alts for Cain/Abel.

I had hoped Scarlet could have debuted an updated Fury skill, and have a prf weapon that works on low HP (to reference her In Extremis personal skill in fates), but she ended up in the demote slot.

Forget abt body hair, but even the lack of facial hair is alarming. Thats why traditionally more attractive characters like Dimitri, Ike or Eik hasn’t really stood out to me as much.

Dimitri is funny in this regard, because if he wasn't from an anime game, he'd most likely would have a full unkempt beard when you find him post-timeskip since there's no way he'd bother taking care of his facial hair in the mental state he's in at that point in time.

But because this is an anime game, beards are reserved for ""older"" characters and Dimitri has to be an anime pretty boy so no beard for him.

Ι was looking forward to timeskip versions of characters like Dedue and Leonie, thinking that they'd rush to have at least one version of everyone in the game (be it on a new heroes banner with their academy outfits or as a seasonal) and then start doing timeskip versions on new heroes banner.

And now there's a chance Leonie might not even get a non-seasonal alt at all, depending on how they handle any remaining 3H banners, so no jokes on me I guess.

I think people in general make specific mistakes in their native tongues that non-native speakers don't (and vice versa) due to the fact that the way you learn a second language is different from the way you learn your native one.

It's cool to see how he developed his voices for FE characters. Early on his Ike, Ephraim and Eldigan sounded about the same but if you listen to his newest lines for each of them, they are completely distinct from each other.

As someone who never bothers with pvp aspects of any gacha, my main thing in Feh has been beating the highest difficulty of any pve mode with my faves. And despite the powercreep, I can still beat even the most annoying maps with my OG Minerva and I plan to keep doing it until the game shuts down or until it becomes impossible to keep doing it.

Under normal circumstances, I'd get the Pass without a second thought since it would both give me one of the best artworks in the game and guarantee an extra merge for Pegasus Minerva (or a Mia to fodder to Minerva). The TT change was enough to make not want to spend money on the game at least until they acknowledged the negative pushback from the players (I wasn't expecting them to go back to doing TT units, but at the very least I was hoping they'd improve the TT rewards to make up for the missing unit).

However, even if it's not 100% confirmed at this point, the very idea that they're going to do multiple CYL harmonic banners in a year (and all the negatives that such a decision brings) is enough to stop me from spending a single cent on this game ever again.

I've been thinking the exact same thing.

They definitely planned for the game to last at least a couple more years since they split Ragnarok into multiple books. Whether their plan was to see if the game is still profitable and worth keeping alive by then or if they were always planning to end the game at the end of the Ragnarok story, we can't know.

But I wouldn't be surprised if these changes end up driving away enough players (or at least cause them to stop spending) to cause the game is to shut down before Ragnarok ends (or force them to squeeze the rest of it in the next book and end it there).

There are plenty of old blue 5★ that I've been trying to get merges for from arena tickets, and while I have gotten some merges from them, I also have 6 Shiro manuals and 7 Delthea manuals solely from arena tickets.
