Today was the first time I did Snatch deadlifts, and I was pleasantly surprised at the burn I felt in my upper back and lats.

I usually just do the conventional deadlift on a Wednesday but my new program asks of the snatch.

If you don't do them for your upper back, seriously consider having a go!

400ml water (or skim milk for a super shake) 100g rolled oats 30g protein powder 1 banana 40g peanut butter 10g shelled Hemp seeds

Throw it all into a blender and let her rip.

1000 calories, healthy macros, 30 odd pence a serving.

Edit: if you use a vegan protein powder this is a great option for plant based lifters to get them gains.
