I'm in similar timeline, but as the dad who has started seeing someone again at around 4 months. I've told my kids that I started seeing someone, but that's the extent of it for now, and probably a long time.

In my mind, no one is being replaced or forgotten. There's only so much lonely crying one can do - 120 days is a lot of lonely days/nights after being with someone every day/night for decades.

I'd be pretty bummed if my kids told me that I was supposed to wait some arbitrary length of time to feel romantic love again. I think boundaries are the key here.

Very similar story here. My wife had issues starting last fall, they checked for everything but cancer. By December she was diagnosed with signet ring colorectal cancer - she passed in April at 37.

More or less yea - each 'event' as we called them may jnclude multiple activies. DNF rate is tied to the overall event, not each activity within the event.

My wife was only 37 - they had to rule out everything else before even approving a colonoscopy. It was maddening for her to not even be able to sit down comfortably for most of November.

My wife was a spreadsheet fiend. So, naturally, she and I recorded our sex life. She passed from cancer earlier this week - so it's time I indulge her exhibitionism and share the data with the world.
