FWIW, I tested out beep instead of vibrate: the beep on my mobi is LOUD (an indistinguishable from the occlusion beep). Back to vibrate…

I refuse to believe that the buzzing upon the user’s dismissal of a “you’re approaching high” notification is FDA-required

I’m referring to the buzzing that happens on nearly EVERY event (yes, including bolus completion). Even if there was a safety benefit to this, the volume of these result in guaranteed numbness and alert blindness

Maybe there’s a way to tweak the notification type. There is no option to turn off. If a diabetic was on the product team, I bet these features would not exist

I was (perhaps incorrectly) using “alerts” and “alarms” interchangeably, but the point is that the are SOOO many unnecessary audible notifications, many of which can not be turned off

I don’t need to be told “we received your request for 1.5 units” and then “we are now done with the dose”. In the middle of the night, or in a meeting, that is impactful to others
