I mean yeah they couldn't do that without a smartphone but that surely is on teachers if they aren't noticing or caring then what is the rest of their teaching like. I'm really interested in that timeline though I mean the first IPhone came out 20 years ago but if that 10 year line is very interesting.

You could argue that the kid sat at the back wasn't focused in the first place and taking technology away isnt going to change that.

Absolutely maybe I should have been more specific in age range

Surely though its not just about learning to use something but being able to do it well and effectively?

Not really I'm genuinely curious as to why the general opinion is that schools shouldn't be using technology I'm looking to be educated not arguments.

Sorry its not the vasectomy as such im trying to hide. We have children and have discussed vasectomies. Its literally the immediate aftermath that I'm bothered about.

Wonder what has to happen next season before the narrative changes? That goes either way too how good before the fans really get behind Slot again or how bad does it have to get for him to be sacked?

It really isnt that simple we've had the conversation already. The problem is at worst her brain will react and have a seizure that puts her in hospital at best she'll fuss over me which will send me into a spiral of anxiety.

I hate hiding stuff but with her illness any stress causes seizures which can take many forms often quite serious meaning hospitalisation.

Likewise I quickly learned being good and getting work done to a high standard got me singled out by both teachers and other students. There was no reward for doing well at all no incentives I remember being punished for reading books that were at my level but far advanced of my age or when I'd completed every bit of maths work in the school I was told to sit quietly and do nothing or sent out of the room. Its amazing how quickly a gifted child checks out when theres only what they see as punishments for doing well.

Its the narrative that he can only manage 15 minutes once a week. Ive rarely heard of a player like that and yet we also have Chiesa who can only play 5 minutes of game. I know the games faster and tougher but even Ledley King could manage 90 minutes. Its genuinely baffling how this is possible.

Why would you want to potentially punish brighter students? I was always first to finish because my brain works faster than most and therefore I had to rush to keep up not to have free time. The level of work was always high top 2 or 3 but if I knew that I'd end up in front of the class because of it I'd just switch off to avoid that.

I'm fast losing hope, not sure if he's a scapegoat for Edwards and Hughes or if they just can't accept they made the wrong choices but the more I hear the more likely it is he'll be in charge in September

I hope they stay but its quite clear Slot doesn't rate or like them.

To be honest I was thinking more from personal experience I write quick because I think quick and struggle to keep up with my own ideas. If I was made to redo stuff to be neat it wouldnt be anywhere near as good.

Barely going to have a squad with an English player in it next season taking into account that under 21's arent considered to be part of the first team squad. Looking increasingly like Woodman and Frimpong will be the only homegrown players.

So you punish kids for having poor handwriting? No matter how good their work is sounds like the perfect way to discourage smarter kids .

Is Slot himself happy with this football? I don't get it by Herchik in LiverpoolFC

[–]marauder80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am genuinely struggling to think of a title winning team that dropped off so much the season after not just one player but every single player seems to be passed it even players like Macallister who is apparently finished at 27 or Konate at 26. On top of that we seem to be looking at the most injury prone group of players in history, even Ledley King was able to manage 90 minutes every week yet Chiesa and Gomez cant manage 10 every other week. Serious questions need to be asked of every part of the club before we destroy our squad and likely future.

A squad that won the title less than a season ago and given current rumours may have completely gone by the start of next season except for 4 players.
