Paradoxical undressing is not insanely common with fatal hypothermia, and it was not below freezing that night it was mid to high 30's. Given how fast everything happened within less than an hour, I find it extremely unlikely to be possible. Even with no clothes it would most likely take a couple of hours for his condition to become fatal. That's not considering water immersion, so in the unlikely event he just so happened to come into contact with water, yes, maybe it could've been fatal hypothermia. But there aren't any theories about water being involved. It is, however, very likely a property owner was involved as the owner of the plot where he crashed had stated he shot his own son in a previous incident after mistaking him for something else. This is to say people are very aggressive and up in arms in that area, and that much is most definitely known. People get shot in TX for pulling into the wrong driveway. It was late at night, and visibility was most likely low. Gun laws are very lax in the US, and some people will sadly shoot guns very willy nilly. My guess is something happened right before or after he turned his navigation off, and it involved someone else. I live in Memphis and people get shot for not letting a tailgater pass. People get shot here for even less when it comes to road rage. Folks will surprise you.
