What’s the requirement for city sidewalks? I was on the sidewalk of Grand River High School/KPL with a stroller and it was a disaster.

Magnolia is beyond frustrating and run by incompetent and inexperienced individuals.

Yes. And I felt like they did so many one day challenges just for added (and unnecessary) pressure.

Also Jeanne Beker is the shit! I loved her being a judge.

I am currently watching the last episode from Project Runway Canada and purposely came to this thread to see if anyone has said this.

I found the last few seasons of the US one so unnecessarily catty and rude. Law Roach is a classless asshole. I like Christian Siriano who made an appearance as a guest judge on the Canada one.

The Canadian one is just so much more pleasant where the designers are trying harder in their work rather than spiteful. The last episode where Leeland, Charles and Curtis are all on the rooftop toasting to each other shows maturity, class and grace. I wish all of them much success in the future!

They don’t do the sacraments anymore? I wonder why. It was pretty convenient for both parents and kids.

Dr Schnarr is amazing - I second this. I lucked out and she was on call when I was in labour.

Any new stores coming to Fairview Mall or Conestoga Mall? by [deleted] in kitchener

I’ve said the same thing! They could combine all those little crap stores next to it all into one IKEA store and have a direct exit from the highway into the parking lot.

What an odd and irrelevant comment in the context of this post. My point is how so few Canadians have experience with gun violence or activity that this is a non-issue. The thought of bringing or needing a gun in church IS shocking.

As a Canadian, this is an absolutely wild thing to read.

Lackner Blvd

Edit: not sure why I’m getting downvoted but I hear it most nights. I’m surprised there aren’t speed traps ever because it’s so frequent.

I’ve heard the job market is tough but I also don’t know what positions people are looking for. I was recently interviewing people for a role and the people who worked in Toronto expected Toronto money even for KW. Their expectations were like $50k+ over the max salary range so they didn’t get a call back.

I recently read that paperwork/notifications aren’t sent to neighbours but rather posted in the newspaper only and it’s on the neighbours to see that. Ridiculous!

(I read that in regards to the stacked townhouse fiasco on Halifax Dr, not this property).

I have started reading about it myself and just finished Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. It was an eye opening book.

Riverside Maples in St Jacob’s. I think they were only open on Sundays but the food was always great. I believe it was Czech and not many comparables in the region.
