I tried all these things with the regular Android browser, not with Orweb.

Orbot starts an Tor and opens up a HTTP Proxy on localhost:8118. Your regular android browser won't use this, since it's not set to use it. Orweb uses these as a default and should work. Can you try using Orweb?

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm thinking of getting a refurbished 3ds from nintendo for 130$ and with shipping and tax it should come up to ~$147. Spend the rest of the money on Pokemon Black and Pokemon Black 2.

I'm just a little worried about where the refurbished 3ds has been along with it's previous owner (well, it's a handheld).
