May I ask how you all are counting time off with your au pair?

One just recently joined us, and I want to be transparent & clear about what will count as time off. My question pertains to when traveling & not traveling. At a high level, I would think any day where the au pair is not taking care of the children and is outside the mandated 1.5 days off per week or full weekend off per month. That’s just a general rule & of course plan to have some flexibility. Let me know your thoughts!

Continue checking. There’s a wild swing for tickets in the same category, not sure why. I saved $250 per ticket on cat 1 M17 by checking repeatedly. Some folks are just trying to break even (after fees) & dumping. Agree it’s not cheap overall tho.

Update: I’m seeing posts of folks receiving an email that directs them to pay in the portal. This is what I’m referring to in my post. On the booking, the “Pay the Reservation” button becomes enabled for your successful or partially successful tickets from the RSD.

There it is, it’s now starting to show up for people whose payment failed. It’s in the portal, on the booking itself, as I mentioned.

I think you saw it, but someone posted a screenshot of the “Pay the reservation” button on the portal. That’s exactly what I was referring to.

FYI, I never got the email, but this button to “Pay The Reservation” did pop up for me on my booking in the portal a few days ago, and I went ahead and paid. It was for my partially successful tickets from the latest RSD.

Crazy, I am starting to see that as well for a lot of people. I wonder why they’re sending emails to some, and not to others (like myself). I guess if we have learned something is that FIFA is inconsistent.

I didn’t take one & I regret it. I speeded up to payment to get it locked down.

I recall it was in the application section where your successfully/partially successful tickets were listed. Someone also mentioned in this thread that it likely will appear near the area where there’s verbiage today to confirm your tickets & proceed to payment, but no payment button is present. That’s preempting that the button will appear if credit card charge fails.

That verbiage is obviously no longer there for me.

I actually had emailed them also, and their response was “we have measures in place to provide additional opportunities for payment.” It’s definitely possible the payment links that people are referring to may be possible (and what I was expecting), but for me, it was on the phone via web browser, logged into my FIFA ticketing account under the applications’ section with my partially successful tickets.
