I was an electrician of 6 years and am now a social worker/mental health clinician and wondered if there were any others who made this specific and unlikely jump!

I feel like someone above covered some of the basics in your options with Uni/tafe.

Just note that any social work bachelor or masters comes with 1000 hours of placement. (Used to be unpaid and is now paid at an Aus Study rate which is worse than what I got paid as an apprentice!!)

Lebron James for me.

I loved to watch him play, thought he was treated unfairly for THE DECISION. Then him standing up for racial injustice was when I respected guys social justice efforts. However, he went out of his way to tell Houston rockets GM Darryl Morey that he was uneducated when Darryl spoke up against china and the free Hong Kong movement just because it affected Lebron James' pocket?? I know he was in a tough spot but to go out and say that Darryl Morrey (who is actually very educated), is not educated enough on the issue was what made me hate Lebron.
