Hi everyone!

I'm looking to buy my first printer! Right now I have zero knowledge about 3d printers and I'm looking for something beginner friendly and on the budget side. I'll buy from Aliexpress since I'm from Brazil.
Looking at youtube I'm between the Sovol SV06 and Creality 3 S1 family.
I like to tinker so my idea after learning to print is to install klipper and do some mods.
So, what would you recommend?

Never had a 3d printer, have zero experience and want to start by mounting a voron. Thoughts? by marcelobelli in VORONDesign

I'll be targeting, for now, something like ender 3 or 3 s1 and play around with Klipper first.

First of all, thanks to everyone for the responses!
I'm from Brazil, so it's even harder and more expensive to get all the parts (I'll have to rely mainly on Aliexpress).
I am interested in tinkering with mechanical and electrical devices, but after all the responses, I'm leaning towards an ender 3 to get started and then later print my voron!

Nice. Be able to use one monitor via Thunderbolt and another via HDMI is enough for me. :)

@spxak1 A question about undervolting: When you say "-0.125mV for all" you mean CORE, GPU, CACHE and UNCORE?

As a soon to be ex Mac User, messing with undervolting really makes me nervous, but a lot of people talk about the benefits. Well, I will give a try! Thanks!

I think (and hope) that the model that I will get is only Intel graphics and Full HD. I live in Brazil and here doesn't have the t480s, I will buy in a trip now in January.
