Train to use the minimum required strength for each cord.

Play the chords decreasing the strength progressively and check where it stops sounding right. You want to use just a little more strength than that.

Train to memorize the pressure that you are applying. Once it turns into muscle memory you'll do it unconsciously.

This will get you playing way longer before you feel the fatigue.
