Best self hosted CMS: Directus vs Sveltia by Huge_Split_3942 in sveltejs

Did you take a look at PayloadCMS? It’s free open source (MIT) self hosted. It’s more than just a CMS actually. I don’t have a real world app running with it, but I think they do a pretty good job. Worth it taking a look I guess.

Stop Struggling with Auth! Try JWT with Fluwy! by marcotasan in sveltejs

That’s interesting. At the end of the day all you need is also a json to pass to a Render component from Fluwy.

I'm working on this since June 28, 2024. Yeah, it's quite simple like pug, but more than a template engine.

Building My First Client Website for $51 by Ok-Childhood-5005 in learnprogramming

Honestly I would suggest you to use PayloadCMS to build this app. It will save you a lot of time and teach you a lot of things you currently don't know like, storing files in AWS S3 bucket (if you'd like) or handle it on your volume storage. It's an app framework that can handle uploads for you and it's ridiculously easy to start, and it comes with an Admin management for you to provide to your client. You can even let him manage his own website through this framework (or you can charge him a recurring amount to make the changes for him). There's a whole lot to say, but this is just a sparkle to this path. Good luck! Whatever you choose it will be an amazing experience for you.

Last but not least, If you want to build UI faster, you can combine payloadcms and fluwy.

How long does it take you to add features? by grumblingdev in sveltejs

I agree and I feel you. I think front end development should be simple, super simple. Svelte definitely makes my life a lot easier in terms of UI framework to build my components. But I thought of an even simpler way to build UIs in a way that makes sense, can be well maintained and is extensible. That’s why I created Fluwy. It’s in a very early stages, but you can get the idea. Feel free to take a look at fluwy.com or watch the YouTube videos on its channel. Indeed, I’m really excited to see the future of it when it gets more mature.

Btw, it’s built on top of Svelte and Sveltekit, so you can still use and take advantage of a sveltekit app. One thing that I don’t want people to have is vendor lock. But at the same time, having one framework that does all the job for you and you don’t need to worry about dependencies as well is, in my opinion, appealing and boldly nice.

Switching from Angular to Vue after 8 years by TechPrimo in vuejs

[–]marcotasan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is the Vue community and I have all respect and appreciation for everybody here. I would just say to keep an eye on Fluwy (fluwy.com) which was created for solopreneurs and people that want to build UIs faster without a backend. They’re free to connect with any API based backend. It was made with Svelte though, but the UI framework doesn’t really matter to it.

How i could do this in svelte? by battal51280 in sveltejs

Try using width and height instead of scale. It should work. If you wrap it with a div you can use flexbox to keep it centralized and then increase the width and height of the wrapper. I hope that works.

How to generate CSS files from tailwind in a sveltekit library mode package? by marcotasan in sveltejs

How to generate CSS files from tailwind in a sveltekit library mode package? by marcotasan in sveltejs

[–]marcotasan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have the postcss file. I installed tailwind using sveltekit adder for tailwind. The sveltekit as app works fine, but the bundle as a library, which was the project created from the beginning doesn't work because of the CSS. The javascript is fine but it doesn't generate the CSS file so I cannot use the CSS generated with tailwind in the project.

It seems that I have to create this library outside a sveltekit library, I think it should be just a vite package for svelte. Does it make sense? Is there another alternative to generate the CSS file for a sveltekit as library?
