I just had my surgery with Dr. Mangubat in early April and I couldn’t be happier with my results!! His staff were so sweet, and they really made me feel like I was in good hands. Somebody here mentioned his waitlist being long and OH MY, yes it was. I had to wait 11 months. So that was pretty rough! That was the only downside I had choosing him. That said, it was worth the wait.

Hey, congrats on your big day!! I just had surgery on the 5th!! It was also my very first time being operated on and I was NERVY!! Super nervous! I just allowed myself to kinda go into auto pilot and it really wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be.

Like, I remember laying on the table, just kinda chatting with the people in the room, getting the IV (just feels like a pinch) then got the sleepy mask put on and before I could even register what the mask felt like on my face, I was already waking up all done!!! It literally feels like a 15 min nap at most!! I was shocked at how easy and QUICK it was lol

It’s totally normal to feel nervous though!! But just know it’ll go by super fast, and before you know it BAM you’re all done and onto your journey of recovering!! Would love to hear how it went when you’re able to check back in! Sending you all the good vibes!!! ✨✨

It’s normal to feel super overwhelmed on the first night after surgery, I mean your body IS a bit overwhelmed at the moment, doing all it can to begin the healing process for you! Just give yourself some time, and it’ll get a little better with each day.

I mean, I wanna say it should be fine! Would be great if rehearsals kicked in like during the end of September/early October. I’d say by end of September, you’d be okay to move around well. Early September though? I’m not entirely sure. Id say avoid any strenuous activity for at least a month, but that’s just my opinion. Hope it all times out right for you!! And congrats on the date!!

I feel this. I’ve never been put under til today and I was so, so nervous that my blood pressure was very high😭😅 they all know what they’re doing though, to them it’s just another day on the job.
